Specific Objectives
- To have a small and efficient organizational structure for CSSC
- To give high priority to the central core function of policy advocacy in the organizational structure of CSSC
- To have a structure that reflects the distinction between core functions and programme work
- To rationalize and optimize the size of support staff to the core functions
- To develop a structure that will enhance additional income in support of CSSC budget from consultancies and other technical services
Size of the Structure
The CSSC Core structure has 25 posts out of which 10 are professional and 15 are support staff.

CSSC MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE
There is a Management Team which is composed of:
- The Director
- The Deputy Director
- The Chief Accountant
- Head, Administrative Support Services
- Social Coordination Development and Financing Officer
There is a Management Committee comprising of:
- The Director
- The Deputy Director
- The Chief Accountant
- All Senior Staff
There is a Staff Matters Committee which comprises
- The Director
- The Deputy Director
- Heads of Units
- Social Development Coordination and Financing Officer
There is a Tender Committee which is composed of:
- The Director
- The Deputy Director
- Head, Administrative Support Services
- The Chief Accountant
- Mandated Officer from the user Unit
- Outside experts as deemed necessary
There is a Technical Committee composed of:
- The Director
- The Deputy Director
- Social Development, Coordination and Financing Officer
- Policy Advocacy and Research Officers
- Technical Support Services Officers
- All Programmes/Projects Coordinators
- Management Information Systems Officer
All Workers Meetings composed of all CSSC employees.
The Christian Social Services Commission (CSSC) is an Ecunomical body established in 1992 by the Tanzania Episcopal Conference (TEC) and the Christian Council of Tanzania (CCT) to facilitate the provision of social services by Church institutions in Tanzania. |
