Southern Zone Information

Christian Social Services Commission Southern Zone is located in the southern hemisphere of the United Republic of Tanzania. This zone covers the administrative regions of Lindi, Mtwara, Ruvuma, Iringa, Mbeya and Rukwa. The inclusion of Rukwa region to this zone is rather a new phenomenon. Originally there were only five regions. It was in the year 2007 that Rukwa was added to the Southern Zone to facilitate collaboration at zonal level. Our Zone is bordered by a number of countries namely Mozambique, Malawi and Zambia.
